Troop 127 is chartered to VFW #6441 in Wimberley, TX. About 40 Scouts are members of the Troop. In addition to weekly troop meetings, activities include monthly camping or backpacking trips, summer camps, service projects, and high-adventure trips for older Scouts. Troop 127 is part of the Sacred Springs District in the Capital Area Council. Our troop meets each Monday evening from 7:00PM until 8:00PM in the Scout Hut near the VFW Rodeo Rink in Wimberley, TX. Scout Hut (as we call it) is located behind the VFW in Wimberley, TX. Visitors are welcome at any of our Troop meetings. We also invite potential new scouts or rising Cub Scouts (Webelos 2s) to join us on any of our monthly camping trips to get a feel for our troop.
